Look: Virtual Exhibits from International Collections of Irish Art
ARTSEDGE is delighted to present a virtual exhibit of paintings from the Collection of Brian P. Burns, who lent more than 60 works of art to the Kennedy Center for an exhibition in the Education Resource Center during the Irish Festival (May 13-28, 2000). Both exhibits included works by Jack B. Yeats, Roderic O'Conor, Paul Henry, Walter Osborne, Sir William Orpen and others that span from the mid-19th to the mid-20th century.
"A Land of Heart's Desire: 300 Years of Irish Art" from The Ulster Museum, Belfast is a stunning collection of 18th, 19th and 20th century Irish painting. The virtual exhibit includes works of art by John Lavery, William Orpen, Roderic O'Conor and many more.
